HRAI’s Heat Pump Skills Gap Assessment is a research study with a goal to understand what skills tradespeople need to install, service, and maintain heat pumps.

What We Collect

When you take part, we ask for:

• Your name, mailing address, email, and trade license details
• Some demographic information (like your experience or work area)
• Your answers to the survey

We need this information to understand skill levels and to provide compensation for participation.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Analyze results and understand skills gaps
• Contact you about your participation and payment
• Create a public report (your name or personal info will never appear in it)

We will not sell or use your data for marketing.

Who Can See Your Data

Only authorized members of HRAI will have access to your personal information.
We store data securely in encrypted cloud storage with limited access.

How Long We Keep It

We’ll keep personal information until June 2027. After that, we’ll remove anything that identifies you and keep only
anonymized data for research and reporting.

Your Choices

Taking part is voluntary. You can ask us to:

• See the information we have about you
• Correct it if it’s wrong
• Delete it (if allowed under research requirements)
• Withdraw from the study at any time
